  Food production, Tourism and Industry are the key activites supporting Spanish domestic market. Due to the crisis, Construction underwent a sharp drop and is expected to remain in lower levels of activity than usually at short or medium term.

  Both the Spanish consumer and the legal framework are promoting the use of products / services with increasingly improved technical performance.

  Spanish owned industry is participating from the global market. Exports both to EU countries and emergent areas are in continuous progress, thus balancing the dependence on the domestic market.

  Overall net, the technology generated within the country does not seem to cover all needs, so the balance leans in favor of technology transfer or importation of innovations.
